This includes setting guidelines and having standards for the kinds of banner ads displayed on the site. We do not allow ads that auto-play audio, contain pop-ups or redirects, and certainly do not allow nefarious ads that promote virus or malware activity. We hate bad ads as much you do and take the matter very seriously. We assure you that deviantART is actively tracking down ad networks that are responsible for bad ads and are terminating those relationships.

It's back! With the goal of bringing a little cheer to patients in the hospital during the holiday season, the deviantART Holiday Card Project connects deviants from around the world and applies their tremendous artistic abilities in designing and creating uplifting holiday cards. In past years, the Project has received more than 5,000 cards sent in by more than 1,000 deviants from 50 different countries/political regions. Cards were then divvied up and distributed in-person by deviantART members to local Los Angeles, CA hospitals, with additional cards given to various hospitals in the U.S. and abroad for hospital staff members to hand out

Real Life Roleplay

((All of the following storyline is based on real life events. All of the Roleplaying (actions, fighting, etc.) , of course, is not. It is purely for emotional (and scientific) purposes.)) ~~~~~~~~~~    "I'm not normal, I'm crazy."    I walk slowly towards the computer. MY head feels like it's bleeding, but none of it is real. I look over to my left and see James lying down on the couch, softly crying. I look back at the keyboard, and consider typing a memo. I feel bad, I mean his best friend isn't acting the same as usual, and it's kind of freaking him out. It's freaking me out even more, since none of this is real. All of this is false.
